Which inputs and outputs does this tool support?
Long URL → Short URL. Redirects expire after 2 hours. URLs are stored server-side; custom aliases must be unique. One active link per IP address.
Where are my short links stored?
The destination, expiry, approximate click count, and a hashed management token are stored on the server. Your browser keeps the secret needed to terminate your link. Shared networks use the same per-IP allowance.
What happens when a link expires?
Your URL is stored privately for a 120-minute active period. You can terminate it anytime during that period. At expiry it stops redirecting immediately; expired records are deleted when accessed or by daily cleanup. Backups may follow hosting retention policies.
